Whittaker Packaging Solutions Pty Ltd is an Australian packaging machinery business that sells, services, maintains and provides breakdown support for end-of-line packaging equipment. We trade as Whittaker Packaging Solutions, or WPS for short.
Founded in September 2020, the WPS team is coming up to six years of trading as at June 2026. Approximately 70 years of combined packaging-machinery experience sits behind the business.
We specify equipment for Australian operating conditions, install and commission it properly, and back it up after the sale. That's the work, in one paragraph.
What we do
What Whittaker Packaging Solutions does
The WPS team imports, sells, services, maintains and provides breakdown support for end-of-line packaging machinery. Pallet wrappers make up the bulk of what we sell, alongside battery strapping tools, strapping machines, carton sealers, carton erectors and water-activated tape machines.
We sell under our own brand. We're not a catalogue importer. Every machine we put our name to is chosen because it suits real Australian operating conditions, not because it ticks a brochure box.
Service and backup support is just as important as the sale. The WPS team services own-brand machines and most quality competitor machines.
How we approach the work
Our positioning is straightforward. Practical, honest, technical advice backed by real backup support, stockholding and machinery specified for the Australian market.
We ask application questions before we quote. Pallet count, weight, dimensions, loading method, environment.
We validate the application on the phone or on site before recommending a machine.
We talk through power pre-stretch versus mechanical-brake wrappers in plain English, then show you the cost-per-pallet maths.
We size machines to actual throughput, not upsold capacity.
Our advice is independent of consumable sales.
Independent advice is the part that matters. If a higher-spec machine will cut your film usage roughly in half over a year, you should hear that whether or not we sell the film.

Whittaker Packaging Solutions runs as a family-style operator. That means short decision chains, accountable conversations and a team that takes the work personally.
Approximately 70 years of combined experience across the team covers the full end-of-line product range and the realities of supporting that equipment in Australian conditions. Team members also hold electrical contractor licences where relevant for safe servicing of electrical components.
The work matters because end-of-line packaging breakdowns hit production immediately. When a wrapper stops, pallets pile up. When a strapping machine fails, outbound stops. We treat that with the urgency it deserves.
Where we work
Whittaker Packaging Solutions is built around clear service geography:
South East Queensland, Toowoomba and the Darling Downs, and Melbourne / Victoria
full service, preventative maintenance and breakdown support.
Regional Queensland
supply and delivery, with named regular runs to Roma and Bundaberg, and service on a scheduled or FIFO basis.
Northern NSW
supply and delivery, with service through scheduled runs and ad-hoc visits where feasible.
Typical breakdown response is 24-48 hours during business hours, especially in our key service hubs.
